[00:00:04] Speaker A: Shmoop. Sir.
[00:00:09] Speaker B: It's like a heartbeat.
[00:00:10] Speaker A: It is.
You're funny.
[00:00:15] Speaker B: We did some RV travel. Borrowed an rv.
[00:00:19] Speaker A: That was so great.
[00:00:20] Speaker B: What do you think? People like RVs. You're in.
[00:00:22] Speaker A: I'm in. I mean, some people are in. Some people are like, new way.
But there's something to be said about a home on wheels.
[00:00:31] Speaker B: It was a convenient apartment.
[00:00:33] Speaker A: It was a convenient cabin.
[00:00:35] Speaker B: I don't like Airbnb. Say verbo. It was like having a vrbo.
[00:00:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:00:39] Speaker B: On the road.
[00:00:40] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:00:41] Speaker B: And we parked it next to our friend's place.
[00:00:43] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:00:44] Speaker B: Which is great. We just had our own bedroom outside.
[00:00:46] Speaker A: We did.
[00:00:47] Speaker B: It was super cozy.
[00:00:49] Speaker A: It was super cozy.
[00:00:50] Speaker B: I know we didn't. Most people. You go longer trips and use the crapper and cook and we're not. We did not use a thing.
[00:00:58] Speaker A: No. Because it's easier to clean.
[00:01:00] Speaker B: Right. We use the refrigerator and the freezer.
[00:01:03] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:01:03] Speaker B: Or mostly refrigerator.
[00:01:04] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:01:05] Speaker B: Nothing else. Didn't cook.
Never used the restroom. Because we didn't have to. Which is nice.
[00:01:10] Speaker A: That is nice. Right? Yeah.
[00:01:11] Speaker B: I mean, I see. If you're going for a week or two, you're gonna. You're gonna end up making a mess of everything.
[00:01:15] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:01:16] Speaker B: But we didn't need to.
[00:01:17] Speaker A: No. And we didn't want to spend another 10 hours cleaning.
[00:01:20] Speaker B: Cleaning it or going. Stopping and dumping the sewage and all that.
[00:01:23] Speaker A: No.
[00:01:24] Speaker B: And all that.
[00:01:28] Speaker A: We're ridiculous.
You wanted to talk about something else, though.
[00:01:32] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Are we gonna stop at the casino?
[00:01:35] Speaker A: Are we stopping at a casino? Are we on the way back.
[00:01:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:01:39] Speaker A: Just putting a little Hyundai in the old.
Just for fun, to see. Let's do it. Can we do it?
[00:01:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:01:45] Speaker A: That's crazy. It might be fun, though.
[00:01:47] Speaker B: It'll be fun.
[00:01:48] Speaker A: Because you never know. We might win.
[00:01:50] Speaker B: Exactly.
[00:01:51] Speaker A: Okay. But we are only willing to lose a hundred.
[00:01:54] Speaker B: Yeah. I know a loose slot.
[00:01:56] Speaker A: You do?
[00:01:56] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:01:57] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:01:58] Speaker B: I've known some loose women. I know a loose slot.
[00:02:04] Speaker A: Oh, we're gonna get banned again.
[00:02:05] Speaker B: You've known some loose women?
[00:02:07] Speaker A: I've known some loose women.
Yeah. I have.
[00:02:12] Speaker B: No, I think it'd be kind of interesting, but you definitely have to.
[00:02:17] Speaker A: I have a limit.
[00:02:18] Speaker B: Watch yourself. Yeah.
[00:02:19] Speaker A: Well, I. Yeah. I have friends who are gamblers and.
[00:02:23] Speaker B: Bad news, but different kind of gambling.
[00:02:25] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:02:26] Speaker B: Bookies.
[00:02:26] Speaker A: That's right.
[00:02:27] Speaker B: Don't do that anymore.
[00:02:28] Speaker A: No. Can't believe you did that.
[00:02:30] Speaker B: It was fun for a while.
[00:02:31] Speaker A: Sure.
You got lucky. You didn't go down the vortex. Too bad.
[00:02:35] Speaker B: No.
[00:02:37] Speaker A: Bad enough. Yeah.
See, every time I've walked into a casino, I guess it's probably because I have friends who gamble. So I watch them or I've seen them. Also, for me, there's no thrill. Like, I, I get it, but at the same time, I don't have. I don't have any money to gamble. So I'm like, I. I'm willing to go in with a twenty dollar bill and go, I'm gonna lose this. I'll put it in the penny slots. It's gonna be great. It's gonna be so much fun playing fling, fling. Maybe it goes up, maybe it quadruples.
Fling, fling, quadruples. But the thing is that sometimes I walk out with. With 40 bucks. There you go. Doubled. That's pretty good.
[00:03:14] Speaker B: Yeah.
Yeah.
I have a mixed feeling about them.
[00:03:22] Speaker A: Oh, slots. About the gambling. Oh, yeah, me too. Well, it's addictive, right?
[00:03:27] Speaker B: It's addictive. And the noise.
[00:03:32] Speaker A: If you're used to.
[00:03:33] Speaker B: It, you kind of just, you tune it out. Tune it out.
[00:03:37] Speaker A: Well, can I tell you, when I. When I went to Vegas for the first time, it's a little bit of a traumatizing experience because I'm a very sensitive soul.
So I walked through my first ever casino and felt the desperation.
[00:03:53] Speaker B: Yeah, there's desperation.
[00:03:54] Speaker A: And it was overwhelming. I was like, oh, this is gambling.
[00:04:00] Speaker B: I don't think I can do it in a way.
[00:04:02] Speaker A: Well, it can be.
[00:04:04] Speaker B: Most of it's a sad scene.
[00:04:06] Speaker A: I know.
[00:04:06] Speaker B: So as you walk through the people, you look at them, they're not necessarily having a good time.
[00:04:11] Speaker A: No, they're not there for fun. They're there for cause of addiction.
[00:04:14] Speaker B: Very small percentage win. Very small percentage.
[00:04:17] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:04:18] Speaker B: Because most that wouldn't end up spending the money trying to win more.
[00:04:20] Speaker A: Well, exactly.
[00:04:22] Speaker B: I've been through that pattern many, many, many, many, many years ago.
[00:04:26] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:04:26] Speaker B: Where you just go, okay, well, I'll keep going.
[00:04:28] Speaker A: Keep going. Then you lose it. All right.
[00:04:30] Speaker B: Yeah.
And I know close friends gone through that 500 bucks and blow it because they want to win more. But anyway. But you're right, you walk through. It's kind of a sad place. They really are kind of sad places. I know, because everybody's sitting there and some they still smoke. You can smoke darts like a chimney.
[00:04:48] Speaker A: Yeah. You're drinking and smoking.
[00:04:50] Speaker B: Smoking and throwing your money down.
[00:04:54] Speaker A: Maybe we're not gonna go to the casino.
[00:04:55] Speaker B: Oh, no, we're gonna go.
[00:04:56] Speaker A: Okay, we'll tell you all about that next time on. On the Schmoops.
[00:05:01] Speaker B: The Schmoops.
[00:05:03] Speaker A: Bye, Schmoop.
[00:05:04] Speaker B: Bye, Schmoop.
