[00:00:05] Speaker B: Hi, Smoopy.
[00:00:06] Speaker A: What are you doing?
[00:00:08] Speaker B: Just sitting here Having Caesar. Caesar with my Schmoopster.
[00:00:12] Speaker A: Which is the Canadian cheers. The Canadian.
[00:00:14] Speaker B: Canadian version of a Bloody Mary.
[00:00:16] Speaker A: Yesterday we had Bloody Mary's.
[00:00:18] Speaker B: We did both versions. We had Bloody Maria's.
[00:00:23] Speaker A: Both versions made with tequila.
[00:00:26] Speaker B: Yes. One of my faves.
I was like, am I allowed to swear? I forget we're swearing. I'm a trucker mouth. I have a trucker mouth. So, anywho, any topics?
[00:00:40] Speaker A: We saw a recent movie.
[00:00:42] Speaker B: Oh, we did.
[00:00:43] Speaker A: With Will Ferrell. It was your Kurt.
[00:00:46] Speaker B: Oh, I thought you were talking about the other movie. Let's talk about this.
[00:00:50] Speaker A: Because we never watch tv. Like, I don't ever have a tv. You don't have one. We never see it. So we're in a place. We're in a cabin. We got a rare opportunity to watch Cabin.
[00:00:58] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:00:59] Speaker A: So we watch tv.
[00:01:00] Speaker B: Yeah. Didn't want to.
I didn't want to.
[00:01:03] Speaker A: You didn't?
[00:01:04] Speaker B: No, I just wanted to watch one.
[00:01:06] Speaker A: Oh, you want to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's?
[00:01:07] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:01:08] Speaker A: Who you. Which you had never seen.
[00:01:10] Speaker B: Never seen.
[00:01:10] Speaker A: And you. Your thoughts.
[00:01:12] Speaker B: Loved it.
I got a little Holly Go Lightly inside me. For sure.
[00:01:17] Speaker A: Yeah, you do. For sure.
[00:01:19] Speaker B: Yeah. Little birdie doesn't want to be caged.
[00:01:23] Speaker A: But not. Not really. A Lulu May.
[00:01:26] Speaker B: No, not a Lulu May.
[00:01:27] Speaker A: People don't know what that is until they see the movie.
[00:01:29] Speaker B: Yeah, see the movie.
[00:01:30] Speaker A: It's very funny. Very emotional.
[00:01:32] Speaker B: It is a lot more emotional. This movie got. Got a little teary eyed, a little misty. You did get misty. Very cute.
[00:01:40] Speaker A: But there's also hilarious stuff. Like the party scene is one of the greatest.
[00:01:44] Speaker B: Oh, my God. In history.
[00:01:46] Speaker A: 1960S New York.
[00:01:47] Speaker B: It does make me think of the Pink Panther. It is Blake Edwards who directs. So. Yeah.
[00:01:53] Speaker A: So that was terrific. And then the recent little feral one was. It was okay. It was fine. Just. It was funnier than most of the.
There was a good cash grabs that he's done.
[00:02:05] Speaker B: Absolutely. But there was a nice little kind of banter between him and Reese Witherspoon, which was fun.
[00:02:09] Speaker A: I do like Reese Witherspoon.
[00:02:11] Speaker B: Yeah, she's great. Did you see all of a Sudden, you know. Yes. No, I didn't see it. I read the book. The book is better.
[00:02:18] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:02:18] Speaker B: Yeah. Wild.
[00:02:19] Speaker A: What were you gonna say?
[00:02:20] Speaker B: I was gonna say all of a sudden we sound like Siskel and Ebers.
[00:02:23] Speaker A: I know.
[00:02:23] Speaker B: Like, what's happening? This is the wrong episode. This is the wrong show for this.
[00:02:28] Speaker A: It is.
[00:02:29] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:02:29] Speaker A: That's good, people. Hopefully Will see both. Both.
[00:02:32] Speaker B: Oh, there you go. Then they can compare notes.
[00:02:34] Speaker A: And then we saw a couple episodes of.
[00:02:36] Speaker B: Oh, Radiant. No, no, I'm gonna.
I want to. I want to.
[00:02:43] Speaker A: Resident Alien.
[00:02:44] Speaker B: Thank you. I was gonna say it, but.
[00:02:46] Speaker A: Which is bizarrely funny.
[00:02:48] Speaker B: It is bizarre, by the way.
[00:02:49] Speaker A: Here's a mental quiz for people, because we had struggles with it.
[00:02:52] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, we did.
[00:02:53] Speaker A: You have to be of a certain age.
[00:02:54] Speaker B: You have to.
[00:02:55] Speaker A: This is for the older crowd.
[00:02:56] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:02:57] Speaker A: There was a show on that made Bruce Willis famous back in the, what, early 90s, I think, so called Moonlighting.
[00:03:04] Speaker B: Moonlighting. And we could not.
[00:03:06] Speaker A: Cute.
[00:03:07] Speaker B: Remember Blonde? Yeah.
[00:03:09] Speaker A: Coho star.
[00:03:11] Speaker B: So this is the TV episode. I've decided.
[00:03:14] Speaker A: Tv.
[00:03:15] Speaker B: You and I are doing tv.
[00:03:20] Speaker A: She. We couldn't have her name forever. And we're not going to say what it is now because we'll make people think of it.
[00:03:25] Speaker B: No, whatever you do, don't Google it. You got to find it on your own. If you're of a certain age, a certain ilk, you might remember.
[00:03:32] Speaker A: And it took basically five days to finally pop into her head.
[00:03:35] Speaker B: It did take five days. Did it take seven? Perhaps.
[00:03:38] Speaker A: Maybe even seven?
[00:03:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:03:39] Speaker A: But the funny thing is what reminded me of her name finally, as I put myself in the.
Took me back in time to talking to a guy that used to boink her back when she was making the show.
[00:03:51] Speaker B: Are you allowed to say that?
[00:03:52] Speaker A: And I put myself in the position of listening to that conversation of him telling me about boinking her, and her name popped in my head.
[00:03:59] Speaker B: There you go. So perhaps you know what?
[00:04:03] Speaker A: She's been boinked.
[00:04:03] Speaker B: Yeah.
What I'm saying is this is. Perhaps this episode is really about how to remember things for people of a certain age. These are the tricks of the trade. Put yourself back in the situation where you were. Remember where you were talking about that situation or whatnot.
[00:04:22] Speaker A: Yeah.
If not where you were watching the show, that might be tough. But if you have any.
I don't know. This is a rare conversation, though, to run into a guy that was actually.
[00:04:32] Speaker B: Yeah. That is odd.
[00:04:34] Speaker A: Giving her the high, hard one.
[00:04:35] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:04:35] Speaker A: He worked on the show.
[00:04:37] Speaker B: I know.
[00:04:37] Speaker A: So that.
[00:04:38] Speaker B: All right. Giving up your secrets there?
[00:04:39] Speaker A: Not really.
[00:04:40] Speaker B: Okay. You know, nobody knows shows exactly. A lot of people. So we're giving no trade secrets, but we're giving pointers on how to remember things.
Because we're not saying our age, though.
We're not. We're. We're. We're five, you're eight. We've really. We've already established that. Is it time to go. Bye.
