[00:00:04] Speaker A: Shmoopy, shmoopy. What's going. What's going on? Shmoop. [00:00:09] Speaker B: Well, we're sitting in our onesies. We're having another couch moment. [00:00:14] Speaker A: We had Caesars. [00:00:16] Speaker B: Oh, God, we always have Caesars. [00:00:18] Speaker A: Those are Canadian Bloody Marys. [00:00:20] Speaker B: They are. We've already been through that episode. [00:00:23] Speaker A: You've had two. [00:00:25] Speaker B: No, we haven't. [00:00:26] Speaker A: No, two. Two Caesars. [00:00:28] Speaker B: No, but we've only had one. [00:00:29] Speaker A: Oh, we have. [00:00:30] Speaker B: Yeah. Each ye. [00:00:32] Speaker A: Did you spread the can around? [00:00:33] Speaker B: I do. [00:00:34] Speaker A: I spread it around, baby, because you added accoutrement. [00:00:37] Speaker B: Are we gonna talk about memory today? [00:00:39] Speaker A: Talk about memory. We were gonna start memories. Like the ones hanging off your chest? [00:00:49] Speaker B: No. [00:00:50] Speaker A: Buxom booby memories. [00:00:55] Speaker B: Did you invent that? No, ma'am. [00:00:57] Speaker A: You're doing mammary. [00:00:58] Speaker B: Yes, I know what they are. [00:01:00] Speaker A: Oh, God. I may have invented it. [00:01:03] Speaker B: Oh, we' starting off on the wrong. No, we're starting on the right foot. [00:01:06] Speaker A: Hey, memories. [00:01:07] Speaker B: But wasn't there elephants? We wanted to talk about elephants because elephants have huge memories. [00:01:14] Speaker A: Elephants are incredible animals. They have families, they get sad. [00:01:18] Speaker B: What's that documentary I was talking about? [00:01:19] Speaker A: People die. [00:01:20] Speaker B: They're like 40 minute kind of documentary about elephants. Yeah, it's fabulous. [00:01:25] Speaker A: I'd love to watch it. [00:01:27] Speaker B: I will try and remember. [00:01:28] Speaker A: How about my octopus teacher? [00:01:30] Speaker B: I can't remember. [00:01:30] Speaker A: Did it keep you from. Did it stop you from eating octopus since you saw it? I eat octopus anymore. [00:01:36] Speaker B: Same. [00:01:37] Speaker A: I hope they're not killing. [00:01:38] Speaker B: That documentary changed my life. [00:01:41] Speaker A: The octopus one. Yeah. It was amazing. [00:01:44] Speaker B: It was. It was beautiful. [00:01:46] Speaker A: Like if. By the way, if people haven't seen that, find it. [00:01:49] Speaker B: My octopus teacher. Right? [00:01:51] Speaker A: A guy spends however long a year with an octopus and this thing is unbelievable also. [00:01:58] Speaker B: Octopus are unbelievable. [00:01:59] Speaker A: It gets octopi. It gets attacked. It like all this self defense. It rolls in a ball like all these changes colors. Changes colors. [00:02:08] Speaker B: It's a magical being. [00:02:09] Speaker A: Yeah, it is a magical being. So weird. [00:02:11] Speaker B: It senses you too. We've gotten off topic. [00:02:15] Speaker A: Elephant memory. [00:02:16] Speaker B: No, but memory in general. [00:02:18] Speaker A: Yeah, because you forget. [00:02:20] Speaker B: Well, mine's pretty freaking awesome. [00:02:22] Speaker A: It is. [00:02:23] Speaker B: Yeah. I believe it's a muscle. I believe you. It's. It's about practicing and elasticizing it. [00:02:30] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:02:31] Speaker B: That's how you learn, get better at it. Because you forget a lot of stu. Yeah, but you forget a lot of stuff. You forgot that I went to the cabin. [00:02:39] Speaker A: Yeah, you were at the cabin. The second time you came to the cabin, I was like. You ever been to the cabin? Yeah. [00:02:45] Speaker B: Hey, you've never been to the cabin. [00:02:46] Speaker A: But there were Circumstances beyond, like, were there. Yeah. [00:02:50] Speaker B: What were the circumstances? [00:02:52] Speaker A: It was a huge rush. And we were totally different people at that point. [00:02:56] Speaker B: We were. [00:02:56] Speaker A: Yeah. We weren't even. We were just dabbling. Oh, wasn't it like a turbo overhang? [00:03:02] Speaker B: You hadn't fallen in love with me yet. Fallen in love with. Be it. Do you love that I can make fun of you? [00:03:11] Speaker A: Yeah, I think. I think it was. Yeah, it was kind of weird. [00:03:18] Speaker B: Like, we're tired. [00:03:19] Speaker A: Turbo. [00:03:20] Speaker B: Do you think. We're very tired. [00:03:21] Speaker A: It's funny the things you forget, though, because my memory. You're right about the muscle memory and practice. [00:03:27] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:03:27] Speaker A: Because I have been working on it. And now I will remember things that I maybe used to forget because I've just. Like the band Greta Van Fleet, which is. Which is the Led Zeppelin knockoff. Very successful teenagers from Detroit. And the guy, like, Copycat now, What? Really, totally copycat. Zeppelin's approach, some of the songs. And the way the guy sings, like. [00:03:55] Speaker B: The whole thing is. [00:03:57] Speaker A: You know, at first I was kind of offended. [00:04:00] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:04:00] Speaker A: But then I was like, you know What? It's been 50 years, 40 years. Yeah, go for it. Milk it. [00:04:07] Speaker B: Get those kids to discover. [00:04:09] Speaker A: I could never remember the name Greta Van Fleet. Greta Van Fleet. I'd be driving places. So I just figured out a way to remember that. There's one other thing that was kind of paired. I just did. [00:04:22] Speaker B: Yeah, I know, but did you make a reference, Van? [00:04:25] Speaker A: I remember I said, it's like Van Halen. If you remember, Van, you'll remember the rest of it. [00:04:30] Speaker B: Do you do that when you introduce yourself? Sorry, taking us on another tangent. When you introduce yourself or whatever, do you actually repeat the person's name, like, to them. [00:04:39] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:40] Speaker B: Or whatever. Use it in a sentence, like, I have a buddy of mine who does that. [00:04:43] Speaker A: Great idea. [00:04:44] Speaker B: You know, you introduce yourself because, you know, it happened the other day, didn't it? [00:04:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:04:48] Speaker B: We were in. On the street and. Is that your phone? We were on the street and I was going to introduce you to a buddy of mine and I couldn't think of his name. Yeah, it's terrible. We gotta go. [00:05:02] Speaker A: Gotta go. We should talk more about memory later. [00:05:04] Speaker B: Memory later. [00:05:05] Speaker A: Bye now. Bye.
